1/32 VF-11 F-8c

November 30, 2012 in Aviation

Fisher conversion added. Ce MB Mk5 Seat, Eduard color etch, Mr. Color and Floquil paints. Flame holder was scratched, and I did the center wing myself by removing the hump and filling/ reshaping with Magic Sculpt. I was not fond of using the center wing section Fisher provided.

  1. That must be huge….amazing attention to detail (fantastic job on those panel lines, etc.) – nice work, Rob.

  2. Very nice, great job on what looks to be a very large kit.

  3. That’s a killer Crusader, Rob. I can still remember seeing them occasionally ripping in to NAS North Island when I was a kid. The late 60’s-early 70’s was a great time to grow up there, what with all those Navy and USMC jets overhead.

    Magnificent finish on this one!

  4. Rob,
I am going through your articles and rally love what see you are doing. Another beauty
