1/48 Otaki F6F-3N
This is the Otaki 1/48 F6F-3 with a Hasegawa F6F-5N cockpit and radome. The canopy is a vacuformed replacement and the decals are Superscale. The underwing insignia is hand painted around the radome. I enjoyed working on this as the kit feels as solid as the real plane looks!
I don't think I could've done that bottom insignia as well as you did. I probably would've tried to hack up a decal or two and do it that way - (hand-paint it...forget it).
let me clarify, just the bar portion that wraps around the radome is hand painted! call it professional artist/art teacher/self taught signwriter in high school!
