1/48th Tamiya F4U Corsair

As with all Tamiya kits, this one practically built itself (which is a GOOD thing, because if left to my own devices, I usually manage to mess sumthin’ up). There were no fit issues, as with any Tamiya example I’ve done, and unlike many modelers, I’m not concerned with ‘accuracy’ down to the millimeter. I don’t CARE if the wheel wells are the wrong color or the cowl flaps aren’t “quite right”. I build for my own relaxation and enjoyment. I’d built several Corsairs in the past, and they’ve always been the ‘standard’ GSB, Lt. Blue or the tri-color scheme(s), [which can be viewed in the groups section],so I thought I’d try something a little different this time.

note: and just so you know, I had to re-type this entry a second time, because I still haven’t learned that I must go to Safari to post anything in “New Articles”. Firefox just won’t work. Which is still a mystery, because my very first post – the Skyraider story – WAS done on Firefox. I’d just like to know if it’s something on this end I could remedy or not. Thanks for your indulgence.
