Bf-109G-4 1/32 Promodeler
I started this and a Hasegawa 109G-6 together over 4+ years ago working along with the Floyd Werner video for building the Hasegawa 1/32 109's. It was shelved for a reason I can't remember and I pulled the G-4 down for completion just over a month ago and this is the result. I used Tamiya Acrylics (airbrush), Model Master Enamels (drybrushing and hand painting), Model Master Laquer Gloss and Flat for appropriate stages, Winsor Newton Oils (thinned with Humbrol Thinner), pastels for exhaust (rust), Mig pigments, Verlinden seat belt buckles (with Tamia Tape straps), Eduard mask set and Quickboost exhaust. I'm quite pleased with the results as my most recent completions have been Armor builds. There's a few errors I have noted for future builds, but over all, I'm happy.
Vic is a good friend and I saw this model yesterday. The photos really don't do it justice, as they don't show the subtle weathering, especially on the undersides. The only reason I gave it an 8/10 stars is to keep Vic from accusing me of giving him a "home town" advantage...lol

I've always wanted to do Tonnes bird - did you get the Revell boxing of the Hase kit or did you find aftermarket decals (which ones if appicable)
This is the Promodeler G-4 (Hasegawa mold) built with kit decals. This is an outstanding kit. I picked it up back in 2005ish time frame for $25 and the Hasegawa mold of the G-6 was $30. The kits have more than doubled in price, but are still a fair value. Be observant at contests, I've seen them in the $40-$50 range and the aftermarket arena is just staggering for options.
