“Gustavo!” – Italian for Gustav…Part 2

November 28, 2012 · in Aviation · · 2 · 1.8K

This is the older Bf109G-10 kit, also done in Italian RSI markings.
It's a very straightforwards kit, with basic detail (no slats and flaps to play with!) and apart from a too-small Prop diameter, a fairly accurate rendition of the subject.
Decals are from Ventura, here in NZ, the sheet is now OOP, but had something like 8 Italian 109s to choose from.

  1. Nice! I have been bitten by the 109 bug and foreign operators (non-German)is the one area I am fighting hard not to get sucked into- you come close to convincing me to do some- an italian Gustav would look nice next to an MC-202 and MC-205!

  2. well, in that case you had best stay away from Stormo! (the online Italian modelling magazine) as they have several Beautiful decalsheets for WW 2 Italian subjects on sale: Bf109s, Mc202/205/G55's, Cr42 and others as well.
    All at very good prices.
