1/32 Spitfire XII
For some reason, the Spitfire XII has always been my favorite of the Griffon Spits, I just like its look. This is MB862, EB-E of 41 Squadron, the last Spitfire XII on operations when it scored 2 German fighters in late September 1944 just before the Spit XIIs were all fully replaced in 41 by Spitfire XIVs.
Greymatter spinner and prop, cowling, rudder, "C" wing, tail wheel, Hasegawa Spitfire V kit fuselage. Decals again sourced from the Dungeon, mostly from various Xtradecal sheets.
Lovely conversion work, Tom. The Griffon Spitfires have a bit more rugged, toothier countenance than their more dainty predecessors and you've done alot of excellent work on these three. Marvelous!

How are the GreyMatter conversions ?
The Greymatter conversions are very good, but one should be experienced with hacking up kits and using resin to get to the finish line with them. Their designs and requirements of what to do are very straightforward.
I particularly like their P-40F/L conversion for the Hasegawa 1/32 P-40.
