Czech Mini Master 1/144 scale Resin Martin JRM-1 Mars Waterbomber, W.I.P.

December 18, 2012 · in Aviation · · 1 · 1.6K

This has been an ongoing project since May of this year. It has involved two complete paint jobs, a lot of sanding and at least 9 brass pins. I have just finished the Alclad II Laquer gloss coat and am finally ready to apply the few decals. The red is Floquil RR Colors Signal Red, and the white is Tamiya White Fine Surface Primer. The Black is MM Semi-Gloss Enamel. This kit represents Phillipine Mars, which has been sold to a Museum in Florida, and is now being re-painted in Gloss Navy Blue, prior to her departure for warmer climes. I am going to finish this one with her beaching gear. The next one, Hawaii Mars will be in flight releasing a full drop of water. Should be cool.
