Hasegawa 32nd FW-190

December 8, 2012 in Aviation

Again…an older build (I think it’s all there this time) – an A8 variant maybe (?). I do see that the antenna wire is gone, but I can’t blame everything on the cats.
I used to take an old greeting card and rip (not cut) an irregular opening in the center and spray the camo color(s) through the opening. With a little [more] practice, I could get the distance correct and get a blended appearance rather than a sharp edge. Turn the card over and you’ve got a different shape for the pattern.

  1. Craig, you’ve got a bunch of really nice German planes don’t you? And this one is another! I especially like the fourth and fifth gallery pic. The frontal shots always high-light the brutal look of the FW-190s. Cool paint job too!

  2. Craig, I like the greeting card trick, i’ll have to give that one a try.
