“The Missle With a Man in it”

December 9, 2012 in Aviation

This is the Hasegawa (I believe) 1/32nd F-104(C?) done some time back. As I recall, it was a fairly trouble-free build and the NMF was my usual rattle-can technique.
I took these out on the driveway this morning in hopes of creating a better background and lighting result. I trust I didn’t inundate the post with TOO many pics – (wonder what the max is?)
There were/are things I can see that I would have done differently now that I look a little closer, but all in all, I’m satisfied with the outcome. And I think the pitot tube is missing, isn’t it? DOH!

  1. That’s a real beauty, Craig. Sharp build and a nice even application from the spray can too- no evidence of pooling or holidays anywhere on the model. Well done!

  2. You’re too kind, Erik….but thank you. “Holidays”….?

  3. I agree, this one looks great!

  4. nice job on that puppy…i’m working my way back through the pages…man you’ve got a lot
