Attack of the 109s, Pt. 3: Hans Joachim Marseille (Hasegawa 1/32 Bf-109F-4)

January 22, 2013 in Aviation

Two years ago, Hasegawa finally made good on their threat to do a Bf-109F, with a new (corrected) fuselage and corrected spinner. To my mind, the best of the Hasegawa 1/32 109s. Lifelike Decals to do Marseille’s second 109F, with Eduard seat belts.

  1. Loved all your recent 109 posts Tom but i particularly like this one in the desert finish. Great weathering job on the airframe, a tricky one to get right, and i recon you’ve done it justice here. Inspiration for me to dig out the 1/48 ICM 109 i have in the stash pile with the same markings.

  2. In the interest of saving time and space, I’ll comment that all three are top rate examples of their breed. The usual excellent work and thorough research. Thanks, Tom.
