Hasegawa 1/48 Zero Family-pt. 3

January 7, 2013 in Aviation

Here are the other Hasegawa 1/48 Zeros in my collection (so far).

They include the A6M3 type 32 “Hamp” with squared-off wingtips and deleted radio and antenna, A6M3 type 22 with white fuselage band, and A6M5c type 52 “Hei” flown by ace Takeo Tanimizu with the U.S. kills on left fuselage aft section. The latter appears to be an earlier mold than the other two with seperate, positionable flaps, and perhaps exaggerated wing dihedral! I will have to watch that a little closer next time I do another A6M5. Still makes a nice model, though.

  1. Again….don’t recall seeing the “squared off wing” version, either. Thanks.

  2. Yeah, everybody who was at the “Pearl Harbor” First Saturday last month really liked these Zeros. Another 10 (for each)
