Vickers Crossley armored car

January 12, 2013 · in Armor · · 8 · 5.8K

Hello, for my first article I present the Vickers Crossely scale armored car. Acquired from Hobby Link Japan just before Christmas this was a nice easy build. All the parts were well fitting and parts count low, a pleasure of a build. Hunbrol and Model Master enamels were used, weathering kept to a dusting as this was used mainly in the City of Shanghai in the 1930's, supporting Japanese Navy Landing Force troops. Always thought this was a neat looking vehicle, love the cartoon turret.

  1. Another Kool Koppos Kit project. Looks good Bill.

  2. Great to see you here, Bill! Lovely work on this armored car, the weathering is sah-weet. I hope you'll post some of your wicked 1/32nd aircraft soon- especially your P-26 and Ki-44.

  3. Damn it Bill, now I'll have to go and buy myself one of these! 🙂 You don't see too many armoured car kits and you've done a great job on this one. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I have to agree with Erik...the weathering job is spot-on.
