Doyusha 1:32, Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero “Bakusen”

March 28, 2013 in Aviation

And another early build……
The A6M2 Zero made by Doyusha, released by Tomy and Swallow too….
The plane depicts the mount of Lt. Yukio Seki, leading the first Kamikaze attack on 25 oct. 1944.
Used the Hasegawa A6M5c wheels and propblades because the kit’s ones looked cr*p.
The kit is sprayed with Revell enamels, chipping is done with Revell silver. No washes.
Only tailcodes and stencil are decals.

  1. I’m not much of a guy for Japanese aircraft guy, but I like what you did with this one. It looks great. You don’t see many of these birds with a bomb hanging from it. I like that, for some reason it really makes a big difference. Nice chipping and weathering on it also.
