StuG III

Here is my first submission to this site : A . I built this one completely OOTB (Out Of The Box). The decals are from various other kits. and the victory rings on the gunbarrel are hand painted. The model itself, is also hand painted. No ambush scheme...just a basic green/grey scheme to mesh with the winter. This build took me roughly 3 weeks to build, and I have to say that the hardest part was the magic tracks that came with this kit. I chose to submit this black-and-white pic because it...just fits. However, the cold, and the snow didn't make my hands all too happy. I am happy with the way this kit turned out. Turned out better than I thought.

  1. I'd say it turned out pretty well...shoulda taken some pics, though. Are those "magic tracks" the ones that come in individual pieces?

    (...it's not too late...)

  2. Welcome onboard, D. The photo lookd great with abit of old-fashioned blurry feeling to it. We'd definitely like to see more! Thanks for sharing /M.

    • Thank you. In the coming days, you may see one of my older builds, a Dornier Do 335. I built that one as an A-5 single seat night fighter... and if I ever get done in time, I may also post the current beast that I'm working on now ( a Heinkel He 111 H-22 ).
