Hasegawa 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109-G6

April 6, 2013 · in Aviation · · 6 · 1.9K

Purchased this kit when it was first released somewhere in the mid nineties (I think). It was my first experience with using resin detail parts. Cockpit is the OOP KMC kit which was absolutely fabulous in that it just dropped in without any hassles. Also used Verlinden underwing cannon pods with barrels made from syringes. Do not recall who manufactured the "Blackbird" figures or where I got them from. I used a "spares-box" rudder which came as an extra from a Fujimi kit. Aeromaster decals were used throughout and they snuggled down without the use of solvents. Aircraft was finished in Aeromaster Warbird Enamels.

REALLY good Seamus. Great diorama with an immacculate 109.

  4. Seamus.. the "set" looks like a "still" photo from a movie .. even down to the wheel chocks ... I would love to find realistic chocks for my builds ! you
accomplish a great deal on your model builds !1
