Monogram 1/48 P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback “Zirkus Rosarius”

April 2, 2013 · in Aviation · · 5 · 2.3K

This was my attempt at another captured aircraft, this one I don't think came out as well as my b-24H but it came out fair. I used the other copy of this plane on here as a reference but this one isn't nearly as detailed partially because planes tend not to be as detailed as Tamiya planes. But this was a fun build and I enjoyed it, but I'm getting really sick of monograms raised panel lines D: Hope you enjoy!

  1. I keep thinking I should one something like this, but never have. I like yours...it looks good.

  2. I dig this! Captured service planes have always intrigued me. I really like the P-38 that the Germans painted up like this too. Very nicely done!

  3. You did a nice job. Colors look great.

  4. I really like the color scheme, captured service planes seem to make interesting subjects most of the time.

  5. This is most beautifull P-47D model painting ever i saw .
I am always loving & wondering about the ww1& ww2 luftwaffe aircrafts disigning & manufacturing .
    Good luck!
