Slingsby T.18 Hengist

April 18, 2013 · in Aviation · · 5 · 1.1K

Hello

My father, Raul Hrubisko has made two new models in scale for our collection. In this case as part of our Glider series.

He made them from scratch in only 16 days.. I would like to thank to Jed and Alastair for helping us with information and photos.

Here are the Slingsby T.18 Hengist gliders.

  1. I, for one, would have liked to have seen "in progress" pics, or at least a description, of, these 16-day masterpieces. How on earth did he scratch build such an outstanding example(s) of this aircraft? Where does one even start? Amazing craftsmanship, sir.

  2. Got to agree with Craig this work is perfect, it inspires me to improve my own skills, thanks for sharing.

  3. Zoinks! I don't think I could've achieved that in 16 years. Everything in proportion wit accurate shapes and perfect alignment. Superb job on both!
