Accurate Miniatures 48th SBD-3 Dauntless USN

AM's offering of the Dauntless was an enjoyable kit to build. Despite the many detailed bits in the cockpit throughout the kit, the parts assembly process was pretty much as the instructions described. This is the 3rd Am kit i have built, the other 2 are the A-36 Apache and the P-51A Mustang. The Mustangs were not to bad, not as complicated as the Dauntless and the Avenger which I still have in the stash. Using Aeromaster Warbird Acrylics for the USN Blue Grey over Lt Grey. This time a true OOB build kit decals used. Built around 2001. One of those satisfying builds that challenges your skills and patience. But at the end your darn happy it turned out ok. Makes this hobby so fun to do building a part of history. Thanks for viewing.
