  1. sweet jug Bob love the bare metal tail section and the reffersnce photo included good job

  2. Nice-lookin’ build, Bob….but it looks like your hand’s been in the water too long – 🙂

  3. That’s what I’m talkin’ about, a silk purse from a sow’s ear. Brilliantly done!

  4. Great lookin’ Jug Bob!

  5. I love the old Monogram classics, don’t care what anyone says they build up great, I’ve even seen the old Helldiver and Avenger built to look almost like a modern. The Jugs are some of the best and yours looks the part for sure, great job!

  6. Excellent build of the Monogram/Revell Jug, it still builds up to a very nice model of the P-47, raised panel lines don’t bother me as Rob had pointed out. In fact the newer engraved models like the F-100, F-102 are not as accurate as the older Monogram classics. Tamiyas P-47 is pretty good though. Stiil the Monogram Jug looks just as nice sitting next to it. I have built one of these too, so thanks for posting yours.

  7. thank you men for the wonderful compliments
