Mostly OOB……A resin seat and the 500lb LGBs came from a trumpeter F-14. Great kit!

  1. WOW! Looks spectacular.
I like the subtle weathering and panel lines.
Who’s paint did U use? Kit decals? Tell us more!

  2. Thanks for the comment.
The paint was from the Mr Color line. I used the FS call outs…then picked up some additional greys..added some white or a darker greay to vary the shades.
The wash was from the mig pigment line…The premixed wash. Decals were two BoBs and CAM mix. I scratched the GPS dome.

This is the second one of these I have built over the years….What a great kit!

  8. Well done Hornet, I have the kit and something that I am saving to build when I feel that it is time and also have the room to display it. Also maybe that I know I’m in my permanent home as well. The hobby shop background brings back great memories.
