Airfix 1/72 Hawker Typhoon 1B

July 12, 2013 in Aviation

Built OOB, finished in Testors and Tamiya acrylics.
I had planned on mounting bombs instead of rockets, for something a little different. However, I really didn’t like the way the bombs ended up looking. I also left off the boarding step, as it was pretty much out of scale to my eye. I’m calling it done. A fun little kit with an MSRP of $9.00, and seems to be retailing for around $7.00 + change. Can’t really beat that!
