1/32 Tamiya P-51D Mustang LOU IV

August 13, 2013 · in Aviation · · 18 · 4.3K

Here are some pictures of my last .
LOU IV built mostly out of box except for Barracudacast wheels and EagleCals decals.
Painting was done with Gunze Sangyo acrylics and Alclad metalizers.
Happy modelling

  1. We've missed seeing your work, Tolga...they always leaves us speechless. You're a true artist in plastic. Bravo on yet another stellar build, sir.

  2. Tolga...Awesome Mustang, nice clean build as usual.

  3. This is another one that looks like someone could just climb into & fly away.
Got to agree with Craig on your artistry. Your paintwork is exceptional.

  4. Another Goldie Locks build...done just right. Great weathering that is subtle and not over powering...the a/c looks well maintained but a creature of war.
Like the weathering on the wheels, spinner and the work on the wind screen and canopy too.
    Two thumbs up.

  5. Tolga,
I have only one question, where does the real airplane end and become a model? I agree your skill and artistry is exceptional.

  6. Excellent model and photos! Loved it!

  7. Really wonderful, Tolgas.
How's come you didn't paint it blue like it's supposed to be? ๐Ÿ™‚

    Beautiful model & photos.

  9. Thanks for your comments..

  10. Superior work, once again.

  11. Absolutely beautiful. Love the faded paint over the invasion stripes. Captures the look of a well worn but well maintained aircraft perfectly.

  12. What a beautiful build. You ARE a master! Now I see my 1/48 Lou IV is missing ATHELENE on the right cowl. Yikes!
