Collings Foundation B-24 “Witchcraft”…

August 14, 2013 in Aviation

As promised, a few shots of one of the others in the Collings fleet that makes it’s annual ‘migration’ into a nearby nondescript field for maintenance. The remaining aircraft (the B-25 and P-51B), will be combined into one post at a later date/time, in order that modelers “headliners” not be pushed off the page too soon. Thanks for your indulgence. Enjoy the pics.

  1. that’s gorgeous…i flew in their b-25 “tondaleyo”…it was pretty crowded…could have chosen witchcraft same amount of but the name bugged me

  2. Yes, I was there with a buddy. A lot of pics. They made us feel right at home. Then, over to the VAC museum, and more fun. Great day ! Seems there were a lot more people there when we attended. (my pic was taken at Ponce Inlet, North Turn Bar & Grill)

  3. When the Collings birds turned up in 199 with the B-24 repainted as Witchcraft, I was reaaallllly bummed when the FAA ruling about a2a photography was announced. The only way you can shoot her a2a now is when they’re flying from one appearance to the next – a major undertaking of coordination.
