Hasegawa 1/32nd Me-109/Bf-109

August 8, 2013 in Aviation

These kits practically “fall together”….they’re a joy to build and (for some), they never get old. As with the majority of my builds, they represent no actual aircraft (as far as I know), but at least they ‘look the part’, in my opinion. I almost always use Model Master “rattle can” spray paints and have almost mastered the art of feathering in the camo using a variety of “cheating methods”. All were taken with a Nikon “Coolpix” 8800VR” in natural sunlight whenever possible and/or feasible.

  1. Looks like you could possibly be “Master of the Rattle Can”. For me, I find the larger the model the harder to paint. Well done Craig.

  2. Hey…..I just noticed something – what happened to my port side leading edge slat on the “trop” version? I gotta go fix that (if the cat didn’t already get it).

  3. Craig,
Look good. You do indeed have the rattle can down pat. Hi! Ho! Rattle Ranger……..

  4. Deadly looking.

  5. I really like the later versions of the 109, It looks as if you have it well in hand Craig.

  6. looking real good craig

  7. Another top model from you, Craig, and cool pictures, too.
