SR-71 Flown by Lt Col B.C.Thomas USAF (ret)

I built this model for Col. Thomas. He is a member of our "Military Mafia" lunch group. Col Thomas has flown a number of USAF a/c including the U-2, B-57, C-130, and many more. His all time favorite airplane is the SR-71. He is the highest time SR pilot to date. Upon retirement from the USAF he flew for United Air Lines and subsequently retired from there. I would recommend that you Google his name. There are a number of segments relating to the SR-! and a segment of his bringing a 727 into Chicago to be retired to the museum. Also a segment of him flying the SR at Farmington, England.
