1/48 Testors Gates Learjet Model 24 D

October 7, 2013 · in Aviation · · 8 · 3.2K

This model of the has been around for many years, and is still available. It shows it's age when compared to the newer Learjet 35/36 (but, don't we all). Still, it builds into a decent looking business/private jet that you can do in just about any colors you choose. The fit problems aren't much different than with any model from that era, and, yes, I would certainly do another. Some of you may recognize the logo on this one, Others, spend too much time at their bench!

(Thanks here to Bob Mack, for his help with my photography. Hopefully it will improve)

  1. Dunno Joe, at 51 years of age I still think I look like a fine piece of man-candy. By the way, nice Lear jet.

  2. So that's where you go when you're not modelling, I knew I'd seen you somewhere else. Nice model by the way, if only I could afford a real one...

    Nice job, really different.

  7. Ah Joe. You need to pose a bunny beside it for scale effect!

  8. Joe,
Nothing looks better than a black airplane with a white bunny.
