P-51D-10 “Mustang” 1/32 Tamiya

November 7, 2013 · in Aviation · · 14 · 9.4K

Hello,
I want to show my new model- P-51D in big scale from kit.
Mostly I used Tamiya kit and from detail sets: HGW seatbelts, Eduard´s BigEd, Quickboost pylons and Brassin wheels. I make many details myself from lead wires and Evergreens too.
Model is painted by GSI Super Mettalic color, which I weathered by AK Interactive, MIG productions and 502 Abteilung oil paintings.
I hope, that you enjoy it.

  9. Honza,
I agree with the above comments, except how could anyone's not absolutely love a Mustang, but I digress. Yours is not only a fine model but it is almost a piece of artwork. Your subtleties in the weathering and use appearence is the work of an artist.

  10. That's a masterful NMF you've achieved there; that along with the overall quality of build and presentation makes this a very fine piece of work indeed.

  11. Great job! Love the "Blue Nosers! My father, Maj. Alden Rigby, USAF Ret., flew Col. Meyer's wing many times Dad's Mustang, 415629, "Eleen and Jerry", is featured in Kagero's Top Colors 13, "Operation Bodenplatte".
