F4U-1 birdcage 1:32 has arrived !

December 15, 2013 · in Uncategorized · · 16 · 1.5K

Hello guys,
Yesterday evenig arrived prize from imodeler. When I opened box I was exicted. My cat, his name is Eduard, love this kit as well :D. We think, that model looks really great, all parts and rivets are very accurate like other details on surface. I would like to build detail kit at least as well as my ,,schwalbe,, but in bigger scale.

Many thanks to everyone at iModeler.

Greetings from Czech Republic.

  1. Nice one Jan, a deserved winner, and what a prize.
love the set up at your bench, so neat and tidy, unlike mine.
As for "Eduard" well that`s cats for you, any box must be explored.
Good luck with the build and hope to see it posted in the near future.

  2. Well deserved Jan can't wait to see it finished, what scale is that moggie by the way ,looks like 1/1.
    N.

  3. Say, is that your actual work area or is it the one you pose models on to take pictures? My work area is poorly lit, overcrowded and looks like a shipyard. Your excellent work deserves the Corsair, I'm looking forward to your future postings here on iModeler!

  4. Great to see a modeler whose labor, gifts,, and talents are rewarded with a Tamiya Corsair. Looking forward to seeing more of your magic Jan. I take it neatness is one of the prerequisites for modeling ... will have to work on that.
    Two thumbs.

  5. Looking forward to seeing the Corsair built to your high standards on imodeler.
Have to say your bench is way to organized. Maybe as you get a little age, with it comes more tools & clutter, your bench will look like the majority of ours.

  6. From the look of things Jan, you really don't have the room to display such a large model so you best send it to me and Ill get it done. Ill send a nice SMER 72 scale F-4U... LOL just kidding.

  7. Enjoy your Tamiya Corsair, Jan. I know I would! 🙂

  8. As was mentioned by many, your "work" bench is much too neat and organized...disgustingly so! 🙁
If I ever neatened up and cleaned my modeling work space, I'd never find anything (I know right where my "stuff" is amongst the clutter).
Congrats on the kit...it's a wonderful prize...(snazzy shoes, too). 🙂

  9. great looking work area...thank's for sharing...nice cat box

  10. Whoa wait a minute, you're just a kid! Too young to be building such a complicated model. I think you should send it to an older, more experienced fellow like...me. And your workbench is much too neat and organized...anyway congrats and enjoy the build. And yes your cat is cool.

  11. Hello,

I am excited to see what you will achieve with this great achievement of Tamiya.

    Congratulations once again.
    Best regards, Eric

  12. Congratulations, Jan, I'm sure the Corsair will be 'purrfect'!

  13. Jan,
I agree, well deserved. I wait to see it built.
