Revell/Hasegawa 1/32 Bf 109 K-4

January 19, 2014 · in Aviation · · 8 · 2K

I got this as a Secret Santa gift this year from a friend of mine in Oz. I keep doing these Luftwaffe planes, I guess its because of the different schemes available. I tend to go with the later variants like the Dora that I finished a few weeks ago. Now its time to go with a P-47 to round out my European theater and head out west.

I got rid of the blue poster board for the backdrop and went with a high dollar plastic tablecloth from Family dollar. How does it look to you?

  1. The poster board looks better, the crumpled up tablecloth detracts.

    The model is really nice.

  2. Paul,
this is gorgeous. Makes one want to get ths it and make one. I would doubt that I could match the job you did here. beautiful craftsmanship on this model.

  3. I dunno...I kinda like the crumpled tablecloth. Except for that last one - you missed a spot. 🙂
Nice job on the build, though.

  4. Love the model. Ditch the back round for the poster board.

  5. Bag the bag, but build more! Great looking 109.

  6. sweet paint job

  7. Very nice looking model, Paul, but, personally, I think the background detracts. In my view, simple is best.
