The “Bucket List” gets smaller still –

January 15, 2014 in Uncategorized

Although this wasn’t our first balloon ride (our 2nd), it was nonetheless a marvelous experience. The early morning lift-off wasn’t wasn’t our “thing” – oh-dark-thirty arrival time due to the calm wind conditions – but we survived and beat the Arizona heat.
The only other hot air balloon ride was over Maine and the ground crew wasn’t nearly as organized (we had to assist in the preparation of the entire procedure). The first ride was a much smaller basket as well. I strongly recommend taking the plunge, so to speak, if you haven’t already done so. Thanks for allowing me to share the ride.

  3. Say, that looks like a “weather ballon” or “swamp gas”, the stuff the Air Force says people mistake UFO’s for….looks like a lot of fun and I bet real quiet too…

  5. Craig,
    Beautiful. What a great experience.

  6. I think there’s a direct correlation between the number of items on the list and the timeline available to address these items. Ipso facto – the fewer things left on the list, the shorter the timeline. Quick! Think of more stuff to add!

  7. Sounds like fun and glad you enjoyed it Craig.

  8. Now that IS cool Craig! Looks ya’ll had a great experience, thanks for sharing your fun with us.

  9. Craig, great balloon ride, to add to the Waco ride. But, I agree with Rob Pollock, and just thought the very same thought. At this rate, you will reach the end of the list too quickly. Please hurry and add some more, many more!

  10. What a nice flight, great pics. Good to see you both having fun 🙂
