The 1/48 Mirage IIIC from Eduard

February 26, 2014 · in Aviation · · 22 · 4.5K

To continued my french serie i present my Mirage IIIC from . It was a real pleasure for me to build this kit. I corrected the height of the main landing gear leg by removing 3 mm of shock absorbers. This gives him a better position on the ground. The chocks are made with wire sections of copper.

I hope it ll please you.

Best regards, Eric from France

  8. Eric,
Great job. Your model brings out the best of a beautiful airplane. I really like what you have done here and how you have displayed it. Gotta love that pilot, he adds to the overall presentation.

  10. Another beautiful model from you, Eric. The base and the pilot figure really help to bring it to life.

  11. Very nice, love the pilot figure, a pity pilot figures went out of fashion, bring them back I say! Classic fighter. Years ago an Israeli Air Force pilot was visiting various squadrons of the SAAF, he told us some combat stories that he had been involved in, during the 1973 war whilst serving on a IAF Mirage III squadron, it was fascinating stuff!

    • Thank you very much James. This should be really interesting to meet such a pilot. They have a very risky life and have experienced a great human adventure in command of the aircraft incredible reaction.

      Best regards, Eric from France
