Here's even more examples of the wonderful modeling on display at the Moson Model Show. This section shows a selection of propeller-era aircraft in 1/48 and 1/32 scales.

  1. Beautiful display of talent... For me the Fokker D.XXI is truly an amazing model. Thanks for posting all of this work!

    • Glad you singled out the Fokker. That and the Hawker Sea Fury were similar in approach, both excellent models that required tons of work for all the exposed interior detail.

Beautiful stuff, but if there is one thing guaranteed to send me screaming out of the room, it is a perfectly-built Mustang with the World's Most Common Mustang Mistake proudly displayed: the canopy sliding up into space! It's particularly disgraceful on the Tamiya kit, since the instructions are so clear on that and the canopy is thin enough to make posing it no problem at all. C'mon people, this is Not Rocket Science.
