  1. Some not so "run-of-the-mill" stuff shown there, mark...those figures are especially stunningly finished.

  2. Yes, the figures are textbook stuff, and some other striking models here.

Cosford's only a few miles from Telford. Many modellers stop at the museum for breakfast before going on the Scale Model World in November.

  3. Mark, that looks like the Bristol Type 188 supersonic research aircraft, in 1/1 scale! What an esoteric and very rare piece. And looks like quite a few other full size a/c, including a Victor. What a great place for a model show, and there are some beautiful pieces of work there. Thanks!

    • Hi Robert, Yes it is a great location for a model show you can not beat the real deal!
The Bristol Type 188 is a cool looking aircraft and i managed to pick up a resin kit by a company called whirlybird Decals it looks like it will be a bit of a challenge but i will give it a go when i can.
      Glad you liked the pic's

  4. I liked the scratchbuilt U.S. Coast Guard aircraft, I wished you had caught the "ADHARA" in complete frame (to compare it with one I built). Were these planes 1:72 scale? Thanks for the post.

  5. Hi Mike, No Mate they are all 1/144 they were on the show table of the 1/144 SIG, the next show i will be attending is in May if they are there i will photograph all the U.S. Coast Guard aircraft for you.
    Cheers Mate
