Variety is the spice of life !!!
Well, getting ready for the start of the competition circuit here in the Southwest with one show beginnig of May, one show beginning of June and one show end of June, not to mention at least two club meetings in between to do "works in progress" or show finished pieces.
I had a blast doing these over the past four months...still a couple of touch ups to do before we start traveling.
~1/350th scale AFV Club Type XXI u-boat out of the box
~1/35th scale Tamiya Gama Goat with a load of Verlinden euipment ( not too much) in the back trailer.
~1/35th scale Academy RQ-7B UAV again out of the box
~1/35th scale Challenger II ( in progress photos shown up here earlier) from Tamiya and out of the box
~1/35th scale Meng Models German Mine Plow (somewhat experimental from WWII)
~1/72nd scale Dragon Mercury Redstone Rocket
It's a good time to be a modeler, not take it too seriously and have lots of variety and fun !
Everything painted with Tamiya acrylics, and weathered with Winsor and Newton Oils, Mig and Tamiya pastels.

Thanks Al ! Had a lot of fun building...or as much "fun" as a modeler can have avoiding the carpet monster, rainy weather where you can't paint and sanding seams, and sanding seams again !
But it is fun when it all comes together and you can then move on to the next projects !

I'm with you, George. Need to mix it up or one gets stale. Beautiful work.
Nice clean build(s). There is nothing wrong in "diversafication" of one's modeling efforts, always good to see someone building outside their comfort zone.
