Here is a single photo called Night guard duty. It was taken on my hanger diorama. Just two LEDs .

  1. Very convincing, Steve...I believe it could easily pass for a "real" hangar. Nice photo - it came out beautifully. I really like that one.

  2. Simple but very effective, Steve, can you tell us anything about the settings you used on the camera?
    Thanks, George

  3. WOW Steve. It looks very real. It makes you feel like you are inside the hanger when looking at the picture! Well done!

    • Thanks Morne, I would be fun to get some of your builds on
my dio for a photo shoot. Now that would be fun.
I made the hanger backdrop so it can be used for 1/72, 1/48, 1/32, and 1/35 scales. We have used this at a couple of club meets. I have three sizes of regular entry doors I can change out if needed.

  8. Your camera work certainly sets the mood. Based on what you have posted so far I can see that you are a talented all-round builder.
    Well done.

    • Thanks Al. One of the tools I brought over from building model train layouts is building dioramas. I will be posting a variety of these in the future.
      Thank you again.

  11. Thanks Frank, My son who served six years in the Air Force said
"Dad I have secured areas like these, This photo gives me the creeps" That's when I knew I might be on to something. We both laughed.
