BoB entry…1/32nd Revell (?) Hurricane

October 31, 2014 in Aviation

Unfortunately, I no longer have this model and this was the only pic I had of it. I can’t even venture a guess as to the manufacturer. I have a couple of others to post as well (a Spitfire and a Mosquito), but they will have to wait because those are two that I CAN take additional pics – but this is at least a start for the group build.

  1. Nice Hurricane Craig, hmmm the size can be 1/32 ? Hmm Mk.IIc with a tropical filter, i would say the Revell kit. It sad, that its gone,a few years ago, i gave a lot of my kits away and regretted it, very soon, after i heard that the guy and his son made a sport out of it to smash them against a wall. 🙁

  2. Looks good Craig.

  3. The cannon armed Hurricanes were used to good effect in North Africa against enemy armour during WW II. WELL DONE!!!

  4. Great looking Hurricane Craig. I wish you had more pics.

  5. Hurricanes are so cool, this one looks very very nice, only problem is not enough pictures but I am glad you posted it so I could see it too!

  6. Nice one Craig, good job on an old kit.

  7. Always preferred the Hurricane to the Spitfire (they bore the brunt of the BoB). Nice job.

  8. Yes, somehow the Hurricane looks more “warlike”, and you’ve brought out that look very well.

  9. Nice job on that one!

  10. Really good looking model Craig.Shame you couldnt post a couple more pictures.I would have liked to see the Hurricane from all angles. You cant get this model in the Revell shops anymore. I will buy one when I can find one.The camo is great. Thanks for sharing.
