  1. I have this one in my stash. A great kit of the best looking Spitfire created by Supermarine after the recce Mark XIX. You definitely did a great job on this kit!!! Well done.

  2. Hi Riccardo,

Not familiar with this Airfix kit per se. Do the clear canopy sections insert into a separate frame? I noticed there’s a slight gap where the frame meets the canopy, and a step from the edge of the forward cill and the canopy frame.

Not being critical of your build, just wondered if it was a ‘tick’ of the kit that others should be aware of.

Nice clean paintwork, by the way.

  3. I’m building this kit now! Nice job.

  4. Top job, Riccardo.
Haven’t seen a model of the beauty almost without weathering for a while.

  5. A very nice Spitfire, very clean, looking sharp. Good work and a inspiration to start mine.

  6. Lovely Spitfire. Well done. I’m really enjoying my Airfix F22/24 at the moment. These new Airfix kits are very very nice.

  7. Like you say, it’s a Spitfire, and a nice one at that, enough said.

Its a question of time and space.
