  1. Cheer up, Tolga! You won!

  2. I shall look forward to seeing how this build progresses - I've never heard of that manufacturer. But after seeing your work, I'm sure it'll be outstanding. BTW...don't like your picture taken or did you just get up? 🙂

    • Hi Craig
Tarangus is a swedish company and they have released this Viggen a few months ago. This kit is my first meet with Tarangus.
And about for the picture. Yes it looks like in the morning of a long night 🙂

  3. Enjoy the build Tolga, we know that you will do it fine justice.

  4. Looks like a good one, Tolga. Congratulations!
Let us know, I've never had anything from Tarangus, so I'm curious as to how it stacks up with the other available kits.

  5. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out, Tolga, I'm sure you keep us posted. Congratulations again!

  6. Can't wait to get mine, they are available here but already sold out so I have one on back order. Rather pricey but then after adding all the AM bits for the old Esci Viggen kit it becomes a fair price. So can't wait for you to see work that kit. This will be a first for me with any Tarangus product so looking forward to look in the box. Pretty much new to any one really. Congrats to a great prize. Hopefully a good build for one of the most unique fighter/attack aircraft that ever flew.

  7. Congratulations Tolga. That's a very well deserved win. Great looking kit too. Enjoy.

  8. Neat prize...seeing a Turkish gentleman doing a Swedish kit should be of interest given the gifts and talents of the winner. As for the photo...when your a international Rock Star of modeling (Having seen Tolga's work on several sights) given the brevity of having to do such masterful work...one must play the part. Seriously, Tolga looking forward to seeing this build and reading how you perform your magic on building this kit.

  9. Congratulations, Tolga!

  10. Congrats, well deserved!

  11. Lucky guy! I was wondering how this kit was. From the shot, it looks like full wheel wells and an intake right up to the engine. Does it give the splinter camouflage as an option?

    • Yes, splinter camouflage is available on this kit. I will place here some pictures of the kit parts.

      • Thank you for the sprue shots. This is far and away better than the old Airfix kit I found. At least I can use it as a test bed for masking the camouflage. With the cockpit and fuselage as a separate part I have to wonder if the two seater is in the future, but I'll definitely spend the money on this one. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

  12. Glad to see it has arrived safely. Hope that you can treat us all to a Viggen in a splinter camo 🙂

  13. Thanks to all for the comments..

  14. Toga,
Well deserved and I look forward to seeing it completed.
