  1. Brian,
    Looks real good. Nice job.

  2. Two (rather dumb) questions...1) is that the finished model..? ...and 2) did you drop the elevators or did the kit give you that option?

  3. Nice Hellcat, Navy birds in GSB looks always cool.

  4. totally awesome...all ways look forward to your posts

  5. Like the little details that make this kit stand out. The Brassin wheels, the collision lights and the formation lights on the belly. The canopy has been paint to perfection ...its really sharp and crisp. Moving the rudder and the elevators is nice touch too.

During WWII the U.S. navy was all about team work and getting the job done. You didn't see much artistic license, no Vargas girls or cartoons to please the eye, leaving the viewer to study the kit. Two thumbs up on making a Eduard jewel shine.

  6. A great looking Hellcat there Brian.
    Well done sir.

  7. Very clean build, Brian, like you say, it's good to set something finished.

  8. Hello Brian...always good to see a nicely done Hellcat. You mentioned using MM paint and that's my choice of paints also. Is your Hellcat done in dark sea blue or is that some other shade of blue? Those wheels are extremely nice and as others have mentioned, the positioned control surfaces really add a nice touch of realism to the model. Thanks for sharing that nicely done Hellcat.

  9. Brian,
    Beautifully done.
