Review: Schmincke Aero Color, 2nd Voice

March 2, 2015 · in Reviews · 6 · 1.7K

Just as an example and to underline Ulf`s experience with Schmincke Aero Color airbrush paints and what you can do with them . The models are a 1/48 Hasegawa Bf 109 E and a 1/35 Tamiya T-55 still in the works.

Schmincke also a superb airbrush cleaner, the best I ever used.
Cheers to Ulf, see you on Friday

  1. In the UK, these colours are £6.65 a bottle, covering 36 colours, so mabe not everyone's preference, but a fine result nonetheless.

    • Wow! that's expensive!
In Berlin they cost 4.94€ a bottle if you buy them in the store or 5.88 a bottle if you order them from http://www.boesner.com/shop/farben/farben/airbrush

      One bottle contains 28 ml.
A Vallejo bottle contains 17ml and a Tamiya or Gunze bottle even less if I remember correctly.
Also, thanks to the pipette, there is much less waste, so in the end, I don't think they are that much more expensive, at least not here in Germany.
Also, there are other brands of airbrush paints for artists, possibly cheaper, that might be worth trying.
