Cosford Model Show

April 18, 2015 · in Show Reports · 9 · 2K

Cosford was a new way I place the phrase 'modelling'. Other people who have heard but not done any modelling, would think its a 'lame' subject. I reject that.

At Cosford this year I was displaying the first time with my club that I've just joined. As much as it being fun, I enjoyed showing and also meeting great people. I displayed the Spitfire, Do17 and the Bf110 among a whole load of awesome models and modellers.

Kits I purchased.
Fujimi 1/48 Aichi D3A1 Val (already started!)
Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 Hellcat
Eduard 1/32 Messerschmitt Bf109E-3

I want to thank everyone within my club for my first exhibiting as well as a big thank you to Neil for requesting me to join the club

If your interested the club was the 580 Modellers

Well .. back to work on Monday (aka Exam prep)!

Thanks - Best modelling!
Michael

  2. Hi Michael, glad you had a great day on your first outing with the 580 modellers ,Cosford in my oppinion is the best day of the U.K. show circuit, it was nice to see your builds are as good in the flesh as in your pictures on this site, you are a very talented modeller.

  3. Great show Mike. Congrats for your first club display.

  4. Very nice Mike, looked like some pretty good work on display, loved the pilot figures in the WnW Fe2, and the Halifax. Now there's an aircraft of importance which has been very neglected by the model manufacturers, the "Halibag".

  5. It looks like you had a grand day out there.
    Great pics .

  6. I t looks like a real "English" exhibition, Michael, must have been a great day out, it makes for an interesting comparison with the Moson show, thanks for sharing.
