A true work of art. Absolutely magnificent!

  9. Six months : it is short for a so magnificent model. It'a an art work.

  10. Great presentation, Brent. You've got to have a real commitment to this type of modelling to see it through to a good standard, and you've certainly achieved that here. I know many modellers here prefer later subject types, but the skills displayed here are first rate and deserve praise.

  11. hi Brent, I have been trying for years to build the perfect model, and you just did, this is brilliant work. well done.

  12. Amazing model, Brent, like the others have already said, and it looks like an equally amazing prototype, hard to believe these things actually flew!

  19. Brent, welcome onboard iModeler, glad to see your first posting especially of this particular subject. Personally, I'm a fan of all British flying boats, this type included, and you have made terrific job with the kit. BTW how big is it when completed?

    • Hi Martin,
I ove all things flying boat as well. I had to have this kit and it was a sometimes frustrating lobour of love! Glad you like her.
The wingspan is 93cm and it's about 72cm long, the base measures 1 meter×500mm
      cheers
      Brent
