Finished this not long ago after it languished on the shelf of doom for 18 months. As it had been masked up for so long it was difficult to remove the cockpit masking. Patched up the cracked paint as best I could.
The kit is the original Airfix C-130E issue in that lovely mustard coloured plastic. I added new props from an Italeri kit and the refuelling boom also from Italeri kit. Decals are from an Xtradecal Sheet.
An impressive build of the old Airfix kit. Really like the scheme too; are those kit decals Ray?
Ignore that last question... I just re-read your text and see that they're Xtradecal.

I like it ! I did an Italeri Herc (1/72) a while back. Canadian markings of course.
Nice to see a model of a work horse, rather than a fighter/bomber, for a change.
