Dragon 1/35 Panzer I w/ 20mm Flak and Trailer

January 6, 2016 · in Armor · · 5 · 1.7K

Another solo armor build for the year, in this case 2013, is this tiny little AA tracked vehicle. Individual link tracks, minuscule photo-etch and a complete interior that is mostly obscured by the 20mm gun and mounting made for a trying, but satisfying build. Colour is MM enamel '39-'43 Grey, weathered with the Tamiya weathering system and some faded panels. One tank per year, and I think I'm getting better at it. Slowly.

  1. Individual link tracks...?! That sounds like a kit in itself. The tracks in sand are a nice touch sometimes overlooked. Nice job, sir.

  2. Nice work on this well detailed kit. If you ge with Tamiya kits your output will be much more but Dragons AFV kits are really hard to beat.

  3. Nice looking piece of armor.

  4. Looks simple, nicely presented, but I know a great deal of work has gone into it. It doesn't matter so much what your output is, as long as you enjoy it, that's what counts.

Interesting subject, I always did feel any FLAK type was and is interesting.
    Good job on this one.
