March iModeler Award Arrived!

April 27, 2016 in Uncategorized

Thanks iModeler. The model that you allowed me to choose arrived today. Needless to say I chose another motorcycle. The Tamiya XV1600 RoadStar. I am sure it will be another fine Tamiya kit.

Thanks to all the judges that chose my kit as the winner for March. It came as a complete surprise. I was extremely honorer to have been chosen as there are so very many, MANY fine builds that I see almost daily on this site.

I’ll continue to post my builds as the go along. I do this to try to share a little of the modeling knowledge that I have attained over the years.

  1. Well deserved, Harry….and not at all surprising. By the way, I love that shirt. I have one similar that states, ” Made in 1946 – Limited edition – Built to Last” (I like yours better).

  2. Enjoy the build Harry, that was a mighty fine build you did sir.
A fine tribute to those M.I.A.

  3. Enjoy the well deserved award. For one of the finest models anywhere. My Bud has one of those Road Stars, with big-ss sadllebags, rides it all over.

  4. I look forward to seeing the new bike built up! I’m sure it will be another contender for model of the month!

  5. all the best Harry, congratulations. Much deserved.

  8. Hello Harry,
Just found this one in groups. Very impressive build, the model and the background.
Highest Regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.
