1/48 Yokosuka Type 93 Willow 1935
The old Arii kit but still come up nice. Rigging g done with the wire that came in the kit. I want to try using EZ Line when I can get some. Looks interesting. Hope you like all.

What orange did you use?
Used the wire in it, I'd forgotten they did that. I thought it a nice touch, as I was (then) using whatever black thread I could find in my Mothers sewing stuff. Looked like hawser, I recall.
Thank you. I used modelmaster enamels but added yellow to tone it down a lot. Tried to match it to colour photos on the net, so not sure about complete accuracy. I think it's close. The wire in the kit was great. Nice touch, and have a bit left over for the next biplane. 🙂

This was one of my first goes at rigging back then. These days I use ez line. Much better result especially for the WW1 subjects.
