68 Roadrunner

May 23, 2016 · in Automotive · · 9 · 2.4K

This is an AMT 1968 Roadrunner kit. To get the stance I was looking for I had to lower the front and raise the rear axle. The paint is MM Nassau Blue lacquer with two coats of Future. The wheels are from an AMT 69 Barracuda and the tires are from a NASCAR kit. I didn't have enough BMF to do the hole car so I hand painted the brightwork.

Very smart. Silly grin machines I call them because that's what I had on my face every time I drove one. ?

  6. Nice ride Bruce.

  7. You've captured the look of this car beautifully, Bruce, I love it. Not sure if those tyres are road legal, though...
