    Thank you! I am glad.

  4. Looks great! That foil really makes for a shiny bird! The checkerboard markings really stand out agains the NMF also. Nice work.

  5. Absolutely STUNNING. Well done!

  6. Beautifully done, nice touch with the aircrew photo.

  7. 🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Nice EYE CATCHING rendition of a bare metal B-24 Korolev, good work on the foiling process. I am very much with the mindset of Greg, the checkboard markings really do stand out as well as the engine cowlings.

  8. I am jealous. A real splendid finish.

  9. Looks great….how long in the making?

  10. Thank you for your positive feedback!

    Sincerely, Vlad.

  11. Lovely model Korolev, that bmf looks great.

  12. Thank you!
But forgive my English. What do the letters BMF and NMF?
    Sincerely, Vlad.

  13. Hi Vlad, very well done, obviously the foil finish is what first catches our eyes, but looking closely we can see what an excellent model it is, thank you for sharing with us. I'm sure NMF means "natural metal finish", not sure about BMF, maybe "bare metal finish"?

  14. Excellent work, it turned out great, thanks for sharing.

  15. Tom thank you!

    Sincerely, Vlad.

  16. Vlad, that looks great. I am about to paint OR do a foil job on a 1/48 P-47. I think what you showed us has steered me towards foil, but a far less complicated job than you dealt with.

  17. Congratulations Vlad...Very nicely done. Obviously a lot of hard work went into producing that beautiful model.

  18. Vlad, great job! Probably hard to hang his foil? But the result is wonderful!

  19. Thank you!

    Sincerely, Vlad.

  20. Vlad, Time well spent. What a stunningly beautiful model. I have a question as I would like to attempt to try my hand at the foil process.
What type of glue or adhesive did you use to bond the foil to the plastic?
    So well done!

    • Steve, thank you!

I used three kinds of foil in rolls. They have a layer of adhesive. In our town, they are sold in supermarkets and shops of building materials.
Rolls width of 50mm and a length of 10-50 meters.

If the foil has no layer of glue, then I use three types of glue depending of type size and destination details. This superglue, PVA (white glue), rubber cement.

      Sincerely, Vlad.

  21. Very realistic. Excellent work.

Did You use any masks for clear parts? I found only for D version from Eduard.

  35. Did You use some lead in nose?
