1/48 Eduard Hellcat Mk I
I built this kit earlier this year. Eduard's kit is the best Hellcat out there. My kit was actually the F6F-3 Weekend Edition, but I traded for the decals and added an Ultracast seat. Mixed the paint using Tamiya colors.
The aircraft depicted is Hellcat Mk 1 sn 430, 1844 Sq. FAA.
Good looking Hellcat. I wish there was a bit more light, to see the color scheme better - that's a very nice scheme. Where did you find the specs for the colors?
Sorry about the lighting. IIRC the colors were a mix that Roy Sutherland posted on Britmodeler. Will try to post a better pic. Also forgot, prop is UltraCast also. Kit prop is not so good shape wise.
