This is one build I made for the 1st Scalemodel Trophy Wings, Wheels And Tracks. Its an in a special scheme from JaboG 33. It made the 3rd place in his category, glad if you like it too!
Cheers,
Christian

  1. Even though I can't read the [German?] build article, it's plain to see why your work placed where it did. A very nice result indeed. Good work and excellent photography as well.

  2. Great model and photography, Christian. I very much like the decent weathering.
    I understand that the surface detail of this kit is as good as it looks? No additional riveting done by you?

  3. Really nice work on the finish for that model.

  4. Welcome onboard at iModeler Christian, and thanks for sharing. This indeed looks wonderful, and it's easy to appreciate all the care and effort that you've put into the build. I wish I could weather my panel lines this nice :), the panel shading really turns the overall grey scheme into something interesting and lifelike.

  5. A great build on a fantastic aircraft! I like the idea of putting the blue pre shading down, I might have to borrow that idea!

  6. Thanks a lot for your kind comments!
    @Havlar - yes, the surface is really nice, no riveting from my side was done;
    @Editor - for all my builds I use washings from flory-models, they are very easy to use;
    Cheers,
    Christian

  7. If this was third, first and second placings must have been something else!

  8. Well done. Looks like the real AC.
    Lots of work and patience put into this model.

  9. Christian - I'm catching up on posts after having been on vacation for a week, and really enjoying your work - it's all excellent, and this one is no exception!

  10. Thank you very much gents for your kind compliments again!
